" We are so unbelievably enamoured with our puppy. He is an incredible combination of a fun-loving energetic puppy yet at the same time so sweet, loving and loyal. Jaime did an amazing job socializing Crosby and providing him with such a strong foundation exemplified by his ability to get along extremely well with all dogs and children. We have now had our puppy for almost 6 months and my wife and I have never been happier."
Welcome!
If you're like me, your pets will quickly become family members!! I raise my puppies in a very loving family environment. It is important to me that my puppies go to homes that give them all the attention and love that they deserve. They are an amazing breed that you can't help but fall in love with!
I start socializing the puppies at a very young age by introducing them to different people, kids and other pets. Socializing them at a young age is very important for their development. I enjoy taking them on little road trips whether it be to the lake or just a joy ride. They are just another part of the family!
My own experience with a young adult whoodle:
I recently kept one puppy until he was seven months old. I am happy that I did although it was very hard to say goodbye. He turned into an amazing young dog! Normally I only have experience with puppies up until two months old and you can't help but love them! They are so happy and lovable and puppies so hard not to! I have also had the opportunity to have short visits with puppies that have been adopted but until you live with one you don't really experience the breed in full and all they have to offer!
We named him Toby while he was still with us! Everyone that met him and there were lots, wanted to keep him. He had a personality of his own! Most people couldn't believe he was only six months old because he was so calm. He had run of my house while I was at work and didn't get into anything or lose that privilege! I never worried about putting a leash on him while we were outside as he listened very well! We spent lots of time at the cabin where he had free run! He would trot off to visit the neighbours and with a quick whistle he would come galloping around the corner from wherever or whoever he was visiting! He was playful yet loved to cuddle up, a lot of fun to have around!
As far as house breaking I couldn't believe how great he was. He never had any accidents! I know that its probably a rarity but I have had a few families contact me and let me know how easily trained they are! I did take him outside lots and I guess he learned from that what he was supposed to be doing!
They are great dogs that are great with people of all ages! They are calm yet love to play when the time is right! They are extremely intelligent and learn quickly what is expected!
My cousin adopted a puppy from me and he was telling me a story about his dog Maggie! They were on a house boating trip up north and Maggie of course went along. Part way through the day Maggie started pacing which she never did as she also was a very calm dog! Someone clued in that she probably needed a bathroom break so they loaded her onto the seadoo and rode off to shore. She did her business and back onto the seadoo she went to make her way back to the houseboat!!
